Proximo Spirits’ Kraken Rum spearheaded the "Save Your Local Watering Hole" campaign to support bars reopening after the pandemic. We produced a thrilling commercial with CG animation, featuring celebrities like Mike Ditka, Snookie, and Angie Martinez defending their cities from a Kraken attack. Proceeds from a custom bottle launch supported the USBG, bringing bars and patrons back together.

We created and produced a commercial that featured three celebrities out to make a difference against the attack of the Kraken. Mike Ditka held down Chicago. Snooki was defending the Jersey Shore. Angie Martinez was backing up New York City. We shot each of them for a hero and city-specific spots. The Kraken was created with larger-than-life CG animation incorporated into footage we shot. The only space safe from the monster’s attack was your local bar.

It wasn’t just the monster that was in a hurry. We shot, edited and launched the spot with a fast turn around. The commercials ran in a large regional and national campaign that synced with a custom bottle launch, the proceeds from which went to support the USBG.
